Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective date: May 15, 2026

1. Overview

MetricBooks is a subscription SaaS product that connects QuickBooks Online to Power BI-ready reporting data. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

2. Free trial

New workspaces may receive a 14-day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts and renews according to the plan shown at checkout.

3. Subscription cancellation

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page, through Paddle's buyer portal, or by using the subscription management link in your Paddle receipt email.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • After cancellation, you will not be charged again unless you reactivate or start a new subscription.
  • Canceling billing does not automatically delete your QuickBooks data. To delete synced data, disconnect QuickBooks or delete your workspace from MetricBooks.

4. Refunds

Unless required by applicable law or approved by Paddle, paid subscription charges are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. We generally do not provide prorated refunds for unused time in a billing period.

Refund eligibility and processing are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and Paddle's Refund Policy. If a refund is approved, access to the relevant paid MetricBooks subscription may end.

5. Product issues

If a technical issue prevents you from accessing MetricBooks or a paid feature as described, contact us first at abraham@metricbooks.app so we can investigate. If the issue cannot be resolved, you may request a refund through Paddle.

6. How to request a refund

  • Use the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" link in your Paddle confirmation email.
  • Use the refund or support link shown in your account's billing page.
  • Visit paddle.net and select the refund request option.
